Peter Andrease, born in Chelmsford, Essex in 1983 is the owner and founder of Paspective Ltd, an online web and marketing agency and the parent company of Test My Tattoo. Peter has a background in graphic design, websites, marketing, animation and a passion for art and design in general.
He’s always had a passion for design and taking on technical challenges. From creating his own comic books as a child to studying A level mathematics, he loved these types of tasks but never quite knew the exact route that could take him.
After studying a business information systems degree, he went on to get a job in software development, graphic design and then web design, learning about online marketing and SEO skills along the way.
With his passion for art he fell in love with the range of styles that modern tattoos could offer and decided to get his own.
The whole process of getting a tattoo really frustrated Peter and he couldn’t understand why there was no easy way of testing a tattoo design before walking into a tattoo appointment. Once you’ve waited months for an appointment and you’re there in front of the artist any doubts or concerned can easily get pushed aside.
Also, once the tattoo is on your skin it can contour or look different in different light settings, different outfits, different positions and even places. Having a few days to trial the idea first can massively help to confirm your decision.
So Peter had the idea of testing tattoos himself by mocking up his own designs and using transfer paper to test them out.
The idea worked brilliantly and he decided to setup a website to offer an exceptional service to customers and prevent others from having any tattoo regret, and so Test My Tattoo was born. With Peter at the helm, the company grew to have multiple staff, Tattoo artists and an improved quality of temporary tattoos – ones that now last on the skin for an average 3 – 5 days and look more realistic than ever.
Test My Tattoo continues to adapt and grow with the market to always offer the best possible tattoo quality and service to its customers. Peter’s ultimate aim, for Test My Tattoo is to become the number one name in the UK for custom temporary tattoos and spread the word to always test your tattoo before going permanent.
